Today I will talk about the making of a wooden house. I took part in a autumn - harvest exchange and got a great partner. After some time I took the time to read a bit through her extensive blog and got amazed at her life story - story changed by a wooden house. So it became clear to me what I will make for her and her family.
If I can not give them the real house, I can at least make a model of their own wooden house so that they can take it with them wherever life takes them. It was a pleasure to make it. I love to work with wood, but having lots of work I somehow never found/took the time to actualy work with wood - until now. I hope they will like it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Here are some pictures of the finished house:
Whole house
Front door
4 small inhabitants
The front side can be removed for easy access
what a thoughtful & beautiful gift!
